summer firings are always a little easier as we have a much longer time in the daylight not to mention is it a little warmer!

Some of the wonderful textures that make the most of the responsive clay. The pots are textured and then stretched from the inside of the piece only so as not to disrupt the surface.

Soda Firing no.2

We fired the soda kiln for the second time yesterday ... went really well ... a few days to wait now till its cool enough to open.
